Privacy policy

This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect from you

• The wedding details you enter: names, family names, dates, venues, messages and photos.
• Your mobile number, so that we can send you your links and help you.
• Payment status and the payment reference from Cashfree Payments. Cashfree handles your card, UPI or bank details. We never see them.

How visitors use this site

• We count what visitors do on this site (not on your invitation): pages opened, designs viewed, how far they scroll, buttons tapped, how far they get in the questionnaire, and the ad or link that brought them. We use this only to improve the site and our ads.
• Your browser gets a random id that is not linked to your name or number. We do not store your IP address with these records, and we delete them after 13 months.

Your guests

• Guests do not sign up and we do not collect their details.
• The RSVP form opens WhatsApp with a ready message to the family number you chose. The reply goes straight to you, not to us.
• We do not put ad or analytics trackers on your invitation.

Who else handles your data

• Cashfree Payments processes payments.
• Anthropic (the Claude API) writes the Hindi version of your text for the designs that switch between English and Hindi. Anthropic does not use this text to train its models.
• Meta and Google measure our ads on this site (not on your invitation) with the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics. They set cookies in your browser for this. When you pay, we also tell Meta about the purchase from our server, with your mobile number in a scrambled (hashed) form, so that it can measure the ad.
• Microsoft Clarity may record how visitors move through this site (not your invitation), to show us where pages are hard to use. It hides what you type.

How long we keep it

Your invitation stays online until 30 days after your last ceremony. We delete the invitation and its photos within 90 days after that, or sooner if you ask. We keep payment records as the tax laws require.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to show, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent. Contact us and we will reply within 7 days.
